system conversion

 

Our core processing system migration, including a new online banking platform, will take place over the weekend of October 13, 2017. We’re excited about the new system and we trust you will be, too.

Frequently Asked Questions

Your deposit account number will remain the same and will appear on your Foothills Bank statements as well as other account documents you receive from us after October 15, 2017 unless you are notified separately by mail. Any current automatic payments or deposits to your account will continue with no changes. Your existing Foothills Bank checks will continue to work before, during, and after the conversion. However, expect a new “product name.” 

No, unless you were notified separately by mail. If you were not notified, your bank account number(s) stay the same and all current direct deposits and automatic drafts will continue to be processed. 

You will be receiving a new Foothills Bank Chip-Enabled VISA Debit Card/ATM Card in the mail by the 2nd week of October.  If you are using your Debit Card for automatic payments, you will need to provide the merchant/vendor with your new card information.

If you are using your Foothills Bank account(s) for automatic transfers or automatic payments, no action is required unless you were notified by mail of an account number(s) change.

Foothills Bank Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) may be unavailable for use Monday, October 9, 2017 thru Monday, October 16, 2017 during our system conversion with other intermittent down time possible during the following week, Monday, October 16, 2017 thru Friday, October 20, 2017. You will be able to use your debit and/or ATM cards at other banks’ ATMs and we will refund any fees incurred during this period of time upon request. 

Yes. You may continue to use your Foothills Bank checks unless you were notified by mail of an account number(s) change.   

You will be receiving a new Foothills Bank Chip-Enabled VISA Debit Card/ATM Card in the mail. The card mailer will include instructions on how to activate your card(s). Anticipate receiving your new card by the second week in October.

Important: You will be able to activate your new cards on October 16, 2017. Your current Foothills Bank debit card and ATM card will stop working on October 16, 2017.

If you use your current Foothills Bank debit card for recurring payments, such as phone or utility bills, you will need to contact those companies to provide your newly activated Foothills Bank Debit Card information for payments due on or after October 14, 2017.

Your new card will have different daily withdrawal limits. ATM withdrawals will be $500 per day; point of sale purchases will be $2,500 per day.

Although we do not foresee any interruption in the debit card system, please be prepared to utilize other forms of payment throughout the weekend of October 13, 2017.  

You will receive two statements in the month of October. You’ll receive a statement dated October 13, 2017 and on your normal statement date. In November, your monthly statement will resume its regular schedule except for the following statement cycles:

If your current statement cycle is the 1st of the month, it will change to the 5th of the month.

If your current statement cycle is quarterly on the 15th, it will change to quarterly at month end.

You will notice the statements sent after October 13, 2017 will have a different appearance and format.

For customers receiving electronic statements, please refer to the next topic, “Will I need to re-enroll in eStatements?” for further instructions.

All customers will be prompted to enroll or re-enroll for eStatements when they first log in to the new Online Banking System. Going forward, 18 months of eStatements will be available starting at the time you enroll. 

Personal/Small Business Customers: Foothills Bank Online Banking and Mobile Banking will be unavailable from 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 13, 2017 as we complete the migration of all accounts to our new system. Please reference the mailed Conversion Guide for additional information, and the Personal & Small Business Migration Guide on this site for actions you need to take prior to this date. Beginning Monday, October 16, 2017 online banking will be up and running with a full suite of new and existing online banking services at www.foothillsbank.com.

IMPORTANT: Unless contacted, your current online banking username will transfer to the new system and remain the same. You will be required to enter the last four digits of your SSN, Tax ID Number or Social Insurance Number as your temporary password into the password field. You will be prompted to change your password during your initial login on October 16, 2017.

Cash Management Customers: Online Banking will be unavailable at 5:00 p.m. Friday, October 13, 2017. Beginning Monday, October 16, 2017, Cash Management Online Banking will be up and running with a full suite of new and existing online banking services at www.foothillsbank.com.

IMPORTANT: Unless contacted, your current online banking username will transfer to the new system and remain the same. You will be required to enter the last four digits of your SSN/Tax ID# as your temporary password during your initial login on October 16, 2017.

Bill Pay Access:

Access to online bill pay will be unavailable from 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 13, 2017. Beginning Monday October 16, 2017, you will be able to resum making and/or scheduling bill payments as normal. The payees that you have set up will be automatically moved over to the new system.

Reoccurring payments that you have scheduled will be automatically moved over to the new system as well. Please verify the scheduled date of payment on all of your reoccurring payments through the new bill payment system beginning Monday, October 16, 2017.

Important: Payments must be initiated 2-3 business days prior to payment due date for electronic check delivery. Payments must be initiated 7 - 10 business days prior to payment due date for paper check delivery.

Telephone Banking will be unavailable after 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 13, 2017. Beginning Monday, October 16, 2017 Telephone Banking will be fully functional at 1.866.452.2919.

After October 13, 2017 safe deposit box statements and/or documents will reflect a new account number. The box payment method will remain same. For example: if you currently have an annual transfer (auto-payment) in place, it will continue to occur on the same date.
